It has clear, sharp, slightly sweet scent. Niauli is a big tree that grows in Australia. It also grows on the South Sea island of New Caledonia with its lush vegetation and yellow flowers. The tree prevents malaria in these in the region and leaves fresh and healthy air. As the leaves fall off from the trees and cover the ground below, the leaves act as a very strong natural disinfectant. It was historically used in Obstetric wards in French Hospitals because of it’s great antiseptic properties. It is a popular ingredient in many pharmaceutical things such as toothpastes and mouthpastes.
