It has a woody, slightly spicy, clear and refreshing scent. Cypress is a tall, conical tree commonly grown in the Mediterranean region. Located in the Greek islands and Turkey. It is evergreen and brown-gray colored, has hard, durable and reddish cones. Its leaves and branches wither longer than other species after cutting, but they never grow again. Its essential oil is obtained in France and Germany. Egyptians used it for a variety of medicinal purposes. The Greeks thought it was a good tool for engraving the statues of their God because it was a wood that did not rot easily. Therefore sempervirens means “live forever.” It was once used for whooping cough in children. Today it is used in perfumery, especially in masculine scents. It has an anger-calming effect. According to the belief, it cleans the soul and removes psychic blocks.
